VINTAGE WOODEN BOX
Really nice strong wooden box with metal handles, the patina is lovely and with an added interest - words and numbers saying…
“PORTABLE TESTING SET PATTERN S2198”
Although we have no idea what this was used for, it just adds to the character and would suit any interior.
Something to put the wine in and on?
Storage / side table?
The bottom of the box has been replaced due to the original was rotten and not fit for purpose…. But now it’s very strong and ready for another life, I have also added a layer of bees wax to protect its colour / look.
the colour is a grey/ blue ish … possibly Naval?
