TAXIDERMY BLACK CAIMAN CROCODILE
A vintage taxidermy caiman crocodile. A really well positioned piece. A highly desirable piece for any taxidermy / curio collector, and don’t often come up for sale in this condition.
As you can see, the croc is missing several scales from its belly, plus a couple of claws missing. One of the front arms has a hairline split which doesn’t affect the item. Generally though, a great looking piece, with odd nicks here and there.
