Macabre Sculpture "Snake Killing Family"
I really love this piece by artist Halide Benon dated 1982, depicting a snake constricting a family - the father, the mother and the child.
The piece is clearly hand made, and from what I can find, it’s a one off piece, possibly a studio piece.
There is slight movement on the base, but not detrimental to the displaying of the sculpture.
Possibly bronzed effect on plaster or similar sculpting material.
Item weighs approximately 8.3kg.
